I am retired English teacher, and I purchased this book for a college student I am tutoring. Warriner's is, without a doubt, the BEST grammar book published. It was the adopted curriculum for many years in public schools, and I loved teaching with it. The explanations are clear, and the practice exercises are useful. It's a shame that this text and English grammar are not taught any longer.
Great book for English Grammar guidance. Bought and used it for my master school because I had to take another English course there. It is little older book compare to other books out there. However, it still works very well if you are desiring to learn important English grammatical rules. I am sure I made few mistake in my comment here. Nevertheless, the book is great :)P.s- It was also shipped fine. My book looked little old and dirty outwardly, however, it was not too terrible.
This is an excellent resource for writers, for students learning English, and for native English speakers who like to use correct grammar. I highly recommend it.
